FOTOinformator 6/2015

Łódź, Kraków, Wrocław to miejsca kolejnych fotograficznych festiwali.

Do zobaczenia.

New on the shelf and in the gallery
Spring ended and with it the photographic rash of early vegetables. Several more or less spectacular premier hardware, sometimes only lift what earlier already well known. Manufacturers of cameras increasingly feel the breath on the back constructors' smart phon. They displace from the market cheap CDs as well as, increasingly, also is expensive - more complex - equipment. Is this the way to improve the quality of photographs, which grows longer each? While the technical parameters of the camera in the phone stand a higher quality is not just they determine the quality of images - was mainly driven by what is in the mind of the photographer.
The galleries also quite a stir - here in Warsaw ended in eighth Warsaw Festival of Art Photography, which after some perturbations, I hope the past, returned and is doing quite well. The special guest of this year's edition was a photograph WFFA artists from Iceland, actually we completely unknown. Lodz, Krakow, Wroclaw is a place next photographic festivals. More and more interesting it becomes offer many galleries of photographs, for example, the Leica Gallery in Warsaw. This is where there is an opportunity to see photographs by Steve McCurry - may such "opportunity" was more and more.
And who can - today is not too difficult - you should go to Arles. Already on July 6 begins where traditional Recontres d'Arles - one of the most acclaimed European photography festivals. You have until August 20, but the most interesting meetings are usually in the first week of the festival. See you later.
