'Festiwalowa wiosna'
Lata rozwoju i dążeń do coraz
doskonalszego odwzorowania rzeczywistości to w efekcie fotografia
barwna a dziś cyfrowa. Wyeliminowane zostały procesy chemiczne,
zostało tylko malowanie światłem na elektronicznych
przetwornikach. Sentymentalni fotografowie wracają do zapomnianych
technik, a firmy produkujące aparaty fotograficzne starają się im
w tym pomóc. Historia zatoczyła koło. W dobie ultranowoczesnych
technologii, wszechobecnego koloru Leica zaproponowała aparat, który
robi zdjęcia czarno-białe! I chociaż jest sporo sposobów by taką
fotografie rejestrować aparatami bardziej wszechstronnymi, to z
pradziadkowie.
Tak się złożyło, że jednym z
pierwszych użytkowników nowej Leiki był Ragnar
Axelsson, wybitny islandzki fotograf, mistrz fotografii
czarno-białej, którego zdjęcia prezentujemy w tym samym czasie,
gdy Islandia jest gościem honorowym WFFA2015.

'spring
festival'
He
first appeared in Warsaw in 2005 and immediately became significant
on the map of photographic events. For several edition was a great
opportunity to confront this then lived students of art schools not
only in Poland but also to compare their academic achievements. The
icing on the cake has always been a photograph presented by invited
guests of honor - mostly little known and so much expected.
Such was, and again, after a few years break is Warsaw Festival of Art Photography. Also this year, his works show the students and their professors, invited renowned artists as well as those who qualified in the open. The guests of honor are photographers from Iceland - for us probably just as exotic as we do for them. More than a dozen of their works we publish in our magazine, but more broadly to know that photograph should be mandatory to go to exhibitions presented in various galleries in Warsaw. Their detailed program also can find with us.
Photography was born in the nineteenth century and it was a black and white image. Years of development and aspirations of an ever more perfect representation of reality is in effect, color photography and digital today. Chemical processes have been eliminated, it was only a light coating on the electronic converters. Photographers sentimental return to the forgotten techniques, and companies producing cameras trying to help them. History has come full circle. In the era of ultra-modern technology, the Leica proposed ubiquitous color camera that takes pictures in black and white! And although there are many ways to record the pictures of cameras more versatile, it certainly will find themselves connoisseurs, who will take up a Leica M Monochrome and will be photographed as those of the early twentieth century. Even they will be able to set up old-fashioned color filters like their great-grandparents.
It so happened that one of the first users of the new Leica was Ragnar Axelsson, a prominent Icelandic photographer, master of black-and-white, the images are presented at the same time when Iceland is the guest of honor WFFA2015.
